We spent a lovely week at the cottage starting from the 12th Sept 09.We were incredible lucky with the weather. The cottage is a real home from home with every thing you could need for your stay.Bruno (the dog) was well provided for and made a few doggie friends too.The restaurants in the village were great. We would love to come back again and have a few places left to visit.

We found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. What a pleasure to find a dog-proof garden. We had lovely walks in the forest and by the Wye

Dear Jayne, Many thanks for the use of such a homely cottage for the preparation of our daughters wedding. We became quite attached to it by the end of the week! Everything went beyond our expectations & we even had the best day of the week for weather! Best wishes June

What a wonderful few days we had a Wainlete. The cottage is perfect, in fact it is the cleanest and most well equipped place we have ever stayed in!
The village and surrounding areas are very friendly, as are the local pubs. It is a great base to visit the area from.
Having a cottage that allowed us to bring our dog was great and she really apreciated the complimentary Bonios, whilst we enjoyed the wine!
Thank you so much Jayne and Peter for a thoroughly enjoyable visit, we hope to return again soon.

Hi Jayne,

We arrived home safely yesterday afternoon after an easy journey from Clearwell.

Tina and I had a most enjoyable week. The snow only helped and caused no problems other than logs running out in local stores!

The village and the surrounding countryside was a picture. We only used the car one day to go racing at Chepstow - very cold and no winners. We walked a lot and found wonderful pubs - the George at St Briavels and the Dog and Muffler. Also had a fine lunch at the Ostrich. On Valentines Day we had lunch at Tudor Farmhouse - delightful.

It goes without saying that we loved the cottage. It is just so well appointed and so cosy. Sitting in front of that fire on cold evenings and roasting will be great memories.

Again many thanks - we are already thinking about returning later in the year.

Regards
